Surfaces and Equipment
AGES and ConServ specialize in the decontamination and remediation of a wide variety of PCB-impacted surfaces and equipment. We clean non-painted, non-porous surfaces (such as non-painted rafters, shelves, equipment surfaces, etc.) using only approved solvents and processes that adhere to the Code of Federal Regulations; and, we continue until the area can be deemed decontaminated with verified analytical results. We employ spill control methods during PCB remediation activities to prevent cross-contamination of unaffected areas. Finally, we coordinate the disposal and/or treatment of all generated waste at an approved, off-site disposal facility.
Sumps, Troughs and Drainlines
In addition to surfaces and equipment, we also specialize in the decontamination and remediation of PCB-impacted sumps, troughs and drainlines. We follow specific processes that allow for a complete and thorough cleaning to get your sumps, troughs and drainlines confirmed decontaminated. Throughout the decontamination process, we also collect and containerize all cleaning fluids for later disposal.
Tanks and Containers
We offer extensive experience in the decontamination and remediation of PCB-impacted tanks and containers. Oil/water separators, glycol tanks, 2,000-gallon to 25,000 gallon above-ground tanks and catch basins are just a few of our remediation specialties.
Parts, Tools and Movable Equipment
We offer services in the decontamination and remediation of PCB-impacted parts, tools and movable equipment. The size and use of the part, tool or equipment will be considered when determining the best decontamination approach.
Compressed Air Components
We have multiple decontamination plans for PCB-impacted compressed air components, such as air starters, air exhausts, air motors, air operated valves, air cranes or other equipment. In addition to system cleaning and system replacement, we offer services that utilize filtration systems as a functional way to decontaminate PCB-impacted compressed air components.
